FAQs

Your group tuition is located in Mumbai.
How can I attend your programme if I stay in Delhi/Chennai/Hyderabad etc.?

We already have one student from Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) and three from Hyderabad in our existing batches.

There has been no problem whatsoever.
This is because we now offer the programme in a completely online format too.
If this option is chosen, then all lectures and tests are held completely online. The lectures are streamed live and hence the student can ask doubts during the lectures.
The faculty, exams and material are identical for the online & the classroom programmes.
So all you need to join our online programme is a reasonable internet connection. Where you stay has now become irrelevant due to the internet.

Tell me more about the Golden Gate to IIT.

The programme started in 2005 & has been continuously running since then.
All three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are offered under one roof.
The format is of a group tuition, with a single batch of 30 students.
Our classroom is a minute’s walk from Vile Parle (W) Railway Station in Mumbai.
For students residing in far off places, the classroom location is not really relevant as such students will opt for our fully online programme.

Do you constantly keep on changing the faculty?
This never happens in our programme. Let us look at the details:
Prof. Antarkar is a founder member of the programme, and has hence been associated with it for the last 19 years.
Prof. Karmarkar too is a founder member, and with the programme for 19 years.
Prof. Kapadi has been in the programme for the last 14 years.
Prof. Indraneel has been with us for the last 4 years.

Prof. Sudhanshu has joined us recently.

Question relevant only for students from Maharashtra:
Is it true that by joining a JEE (Advanced) training programme, a student lowers his/her chances of success in the local engineering entrance examination, i.e. MHT-CET ? What happens if a student doesn’t get into IIT?
A very relevant question indeed! This doesn’t happen in our programme.
It has been designed in such a way that you will not only prepare for the JEE (Advanced), but for most other entrance examinations like CET (MHT-CET), BITSAT and JEE (Main).
Our results speak for themselves. As an example, consider our 2020 batch.
The batch had 33 students in all. Out of them, 3 students reached the IITs and the one student joined NIT.
What happened to the remaining 29? Read ahead:

Through the CET, 8 students joined the prestigious VJTI or SP colleges in Mumbai. This is a stunning 24 % of the batch. In addition, 5 students joined D. J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, 3 joined K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering (Vidyavihar), 3 joined Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, and so on. Please note that these students did not undergo any separate training for the CET. Our programme takes care of that. To know how this happens, please attend our online seminars or speak with us over phone directly.

Where can I learn more about your programme?
We are currently holding online seminars for parents and students on all Sundays, where you will meet the faculty members. Phone us to register now!
